Volunteer – volunteer on the board, on one of the committees: Fundraising, Governance or Finance, volunteer in the hospice by making soup or cookies, sitting with the guest and family, or help with administration and clerical work.
Donate – through planned giving and memorial donations.
We are looking for volunteers for a variety of positions with our fundraising group working to make the Handbags for Hospice event on September 28th the biggest thing to hit Kincardine! Decorating, set-up, food service, registration and runners for the stage manager are all needed. Give us a call or send an email if you are interested.
Huron Shores Hospice finally received its CRA charitable number in mid-March and we are now able to give chariable tax receipts for donations! Our thanks to United Way of Bruce Grey for all their help in the months when we weren't able to do so. Francesca Dobbyn, the UW Executive Director, deserves a star!
