There are as many ways to help as there are people helping us to reach our goal.  Here are a few samples that might get you thinking about how you might help.

We live in such a caring and compassionate community and appreciate all your donations to help bring this valuable service to our community.

Thank you so much for your interest in volunteer work with Huron Shores Hospice. We would love to have you join our hospice family. As a 100% community funded and volunteer led organization, volunteers are imperative to our operation.

We have comfort care volunteers who must take a fundamentals course on hospice and palliative care and complete screening before they can volunteer in the suite and support our residents and their families. We also have several committees, where volunteers work on various aspects of our operations:

Resident Care

Grant Writing

We have a volunteer board and the succession plan for the board is through our committees.

There are opportunities to help with fundraising and community events as well.

To begin the process, We will have you complete an application form which will provide us with information to determine where your interest lies and how you could best help out with the hospice.

Again, thank you so much for your interest. We look forward to welcoming you as new volunteer at Huron Shores Hospice.
