As the holiday season draws near, a time for connection, reflection, and gratitude, we are reminded of the remarkable compassion that shapes our community. At Huron Shores Hospice, this spirit is felt daily through the support of families, friends, staff, and volunteers who come together to create a place of dignity and peace for those nearing the end of life.

For us, “home” is much more than a place; it’s a feeling—built through care, compassion, and connection. This is the heart of our mission for every guest in our hospice.

We are excited to launch our annual end of year fundraising campaign, which sustains the compassionate and holistic care we provide each day. This season, our campaign will feature stories from our team and volunteers, sharing powerful moments of kindness and dedication that make our hospice feel like home.

We are excited to share these stories with you in our holiday newsletter, which will arrive in your mailboxes at the end of November. We hope they bring a glimpse of the incredible impact of your support.

As part of the season of giving, we also invite you to join us on Giving Tuesday, December 3. This global day of generosity is an opportunity to come together and make a tangible difference. This year, Bruce Power has generously committed to matching donations made on this day, up to $2,000, giving you a chance to make an even greater impact.
