Our summer has flown by, and we have been busy planning our 7th annual Handbags for Hospice event. The outpour of support through sponsorships and volunteers has been truly amazing. We are grateful for the support of our community!

The second Kincardine Community Catch the Ace is back up and running!

The community Catch the Ace supports three community organizations: Huron Shores Hospice, The Royal Canadian Legion, Kincardine Branch, and the Tiverton & District Lions. The first draw will be on September 6th, at 4 p.m. at the Kincardine Legion. Tickets are on sale now at participating retailers and online at KincardineAce.com.

In-person tickets are available at:

Thank you for your support and good luck!

We will be hosting Death Cafés in Port Elgin and Ripley in September. Death cafes provide an opportunity to drink tea or coffee, eat dessert, and discuss death. It is a group-directed discussion with no agenda, objectives, or themes, not a grief support or counseling session. We aim to normalize the conversation around dying and death.

Please join us:

Port Elgin:

September 12th from 3:00-4:30 pm at the Port Elgin Library

Ripley:

September 12th from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Ripley Legion
