Huron Shores Hospice is seeking Board Directors with a strong commitment to improving end-of-life care and grief support in our community; Board Directors who combine creativity with experience and dedication, offering skills in:

1. Legal

2. Healthcare

3. Governance

4. Human Resources

Interested Candidates should be willing to:

• Support the mission and vision of the organization, advocating for Huron Shores Hospice and championing its cause.

• Provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance.

• Attend monthly board and committee meetings, taking the lead to chair committee meetings as needed.

• Promote and attend fundraising endeavours for the organization.

• Steward our existing volunteers and donors and allow for new connections to giving to the organization.

What is Involved:

• The time commitment for Board Directors is approximately six hours per month, with an additional three hours per month for Board Committee membership.

• Board positions involve a two-year term, which is renewable thereafter.
